In America today, obesity and unhealthy eating habits are rapidly becoming the leading cause of preventable illness and premature death. Diet and exercise fads are everywhere, yet more Americans are more overweight than ever. Before you give your time, energy, and money to another diet or exercise program to lose weight, please consider the following: God doesn’t want us to be overweight any more than we desire to be that way. This is why the secret to maintaining a healthy weight is found in the Bible. In this series of eight lessons you can learn that slavery to diets, exercise, and the scales are not the solution to the problem, but the real answer is in the Bible. Biblical Eating is a free series of presentations that will equip you to better conform to God’s design for your body and God’s plan for your eating habits. The principles and examples covered can help you to reach and maintain a healthy body weight as it has for many other people. Each lesson will look at Bible teachings and principles about food and eating.
