The hiring decision is one of the most important your congregation will make - but all too often very little effort is put forth to ensure that you hire someone who is truly a good fit for your congregation. Sometimes a hiring decision is made based on as little information as a single sermon evaluation and one or two hour interview. The Participative Hiring Process utilizes a weekend-long schedule that involves your entire congregation in the evaluation process. This process helps ensure that both the minister and the congregation invest the time and effort into ensuring that his work would be effective at your congregation.
