The Spiritual Continental Divide

In order to gain an understanding of the forces that shape the spiritual faithfulness of our children, we performed an analysis of those children who have passed through the Camp Hill Church of Christ youth group, starting around 1973, through 2008. Thus, we have about 35 years of data, covering 108 people. We took each person, and looked at several factors in each one's life during their youth, and then correlated that to whether they are faithful and active in the Lord's church today.

The results are interesting, and the trends are for the most part clear and often overwhelmingly convincing. These results show the importance of several factors in determing whether our children will become, faithful, active members of the Lord's church. It is our hope that by sharing them you may be guided in directing the teaching and activities of your own children.
